The Lesser Spotted Music Teacher in its' Natural Habitat

Here we have the Lesser Spotted Music Teacher (LSMT). Originally thought to be on the verge of extinction, we were fortunate to spot what appears to be an expanding breeding colony in Huntingdon.

Both the male and females adopt a relatively unfussy low-key appearance. Unusually, both sexes are apt to perform noisily in public and therefore the appearance can't be explained by way of camouflage to avoid detection. It may, however, be an evolutionary adaptation to lull their prey into a false sense of security via informality. The species also has acute hearing and timing skills and can pinpoint non-conforming noises from it's prey (Pupilus Discordiantus) with uncanny accuracy.

We are lucky to have one of these rare colonies in Huntingdonshire as their habitat is increasingly under threat from modern development.
